Another difficult location where the boatchase took place and the gondola was splitted in two parts with the lovers in it from " Moonraker ". Very happy to found this location, still the same as 30 years ago!

This location is just great! A small canal in Venice where my daughter Chabelita is on the same place as Roger Moore (007) and Lois Chiles (Dr. Holly Goodhead) met in " Moonraker". Very difficult to find, but as a location-hunter, you can find everything...(april 2007)

This location is one of the rarest there is! It's the monastery from Moonraker (Q's headquarters) , but today it's very difficult to find and it's forbidden to get in as it's still used and like Fort Knox , almost impossible to get in! But i've told the monks I was writing a book on 007 and finally they've let me in after one hour of negociations...(location: Venice Lido Island)

This is the first part of many locations i've visited during the last years.
Here i'm in front of the Venini shop in the heart of Venice San Marco with my lovely daughter Chabelita. This location was used in " Moonraker " when Roger Moore as James Bond 007 walked in this store to have more information on Hugo Drax (Michael Lonsdale)..

THE GOLDFINGER REUNION APRIL 2008

Just back from Pinewood studio's where I attented at the " Goldfinger - reunion " , with a limited admission of 100 guests only. I was one of them with my lovely wife Nancy and my best friends Yannic, Michel & Sandra and my dear cousin Benoit, so 6 Belgian tickets ( which represented 6 % of the total guestlist)!

Many of the famous Goldfinger stars/ cast attented such as Shirley Eaton (Golden Girl), Tania Mallet ( Tilly Masterson), Martin Benson (Mr. Solo), Honor Blackman ( Pussy Galore), Burt Kwouk ( Mr. Ling) , Margaret Nolan ( Dink), Caron Gardner ( Pussy Galore flying circus pilot), director Guy Hamilton, Art director Peter Lamont, Production controller Reg Barkshire, Sound Effects " Oscar- winner " Norman Wanstall, song writer Leslie Bricusse (Oscar winner), I couldn't be more complete...BRAVO

We've also had a superb chance to visit some parts of the sets and could take some pictures from the latest Bond movie in production " Quantum of Solace ". Enjoy the pictures.
